Defending champion Pocari Sweat and two other teams gun for win No. 2 when the Premier Volleyball League resumes Wednesday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Pocari Sweat, which downed hard-fighting University of the Philippines last Sunday, will battle Perlas-BanKo, which is coming off a defeat at the hands of Air Force in the opener.
Last conference’s finalist BaliPure and fan favorite Creamline will also attempt to notch a second victory as they lock horns in the other match.
Pocari Sweat’s new coach, Rico de Guzman, said they still had many things to improve on, including service reception—which caused them trouble against the Lady Maroons.
But team captain Myla Pablo said she was confident her teammates would get around and summon the championship form that enabled them to win the league’s previous three titles.
