There will be no PBA veterans in the national team for the Jones Cup as coach Chot Reyes on Tuesday announced the roster for the competition set from July 15-23 in Taipei.
Mike Myers, who served as stand-in import for the TNT KaTropa in the recently-concluded Commissioner’s Cup, will beef up the young Philippine team.
Joining Myers are Kobe Paras, Kiefer Ravena, Jio Jalalon, Mac Belo, RR Pogoy, Mike Tolomia, Carl Cruz, Raymar Jose, Kevin Ferrer, Ed Daquioag, Matthew Wright, Von Pessumal, Fonso Gotladera, Almond Vosotros and Fil-German Christian Standhardinger.
Reyes posted the lineup on his Twitter account.
Belo will be making his return from a left knee injury that has kept him out since April.
Gilas opens its campaign against Canada on July 15 before taking on Chinese Taipei A the following day.
