Unbeaten Mark Magsayo resumes his march to greatness when he tangles with Nicaraguan Daniel Diaz for the World Boxing Organization international featherweight title in the headliner of Pinoy Pride 41 Saturday night at IEC Convention Center in Cebu City.
Owning a 16-0 slate, Magsayo will gun for his 12th knockout victory and, hopefully, earn a crack at the world crown.
Though his 23-7-2 record is unimpressive, Diaz is expected to draw from his vast experience in order to stun Magsayo. They both weighed in at 126 pounds Friday.
It will be a showdown of knockout artists when Santisima (13-2) will clash with Tanzanian hero Goodluck Mrema (16-0) in a super bantamweight encounter.
Albert Pagara (27-1) tackles Thai veteran Patomsuk Pathompothong in a super featherweight encounter.
