Gabe Norwood gets one more shot to represent the country as the Rain or Shine defender was included to the 24-man pool for the 2017 Fiba Asia Cup.

The athletic forward was the biggest addition to the list submitted by coach Chot Reyes from which he will pick his 12-man roster for the regional championships in Beirut, Lebanon on August.

Norwood, who got everyone’s attention by dunking over Argentina’s Luis Scola in the 2014 Fiba World Cup, last saw action for Gilas Pilipinas in the 2017 Fiba Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

Also in the list are naturalized center Andray Blatche and veterans June Mar Fajardo, Calvin Abueva, Jayson Castro, Terrence Romeo, and Japeth Aguilar.

SEABA stalwarts Raymond Almazan, Allein Maliksi, Roger Pogoy, Matthew Wright, and Jio Jalalon also made the pool, together with SEA Games-bound studs Kiefer Ravena, Kobe Paras, Ray Parks, Christian Standhardinger, Troy Rosario, Baser Amer, Kevin Ferrer, Mike Tolomia, Carl Bryan Cruz, Mac Belo, Kevin Alas and Norbert Torres.
