RnW Steel Masters seek win No. 3

MANILA, Philippines—RnW Pacific Pipes seeks back-to-back victories for the first time in the tournament when it tangles with winless PC Gilmore in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the Far Eastern University Gym in Manila Thursday.

Sporting an even 2-2 slate, the Steel Masters shoot for solo sixth spot in the 4 p.m. duel with the Wizards, who have lost their first two games in the tournament.

Cobra Energy Drink and Café France collide at 2 p.m. in a clash of winless teams.

The Ironmen again fell short Tuesday, absorbing a 56-70 loss to Boracay Rum at the JRU Gym.

The Steel Masters will pin their hopes on the Filipino-American duo of JR Buensuceso, a 5-foot-9 guard, and Jordan Sanvictores.

Buensuceso had 19 points, seven assists and four steals in their last match.
