Japanese ace, Dizon seek repeat wins

/ 06:20 AM July 13, 2017

Japan’s Takaharu Nakamori tries to extend his victory streak when he again guns for a two-round sweep of the premier ROK Expert Blaze 100 class in the second leg of the 2017 Petron ROK Karting Super Series at Carmona Racetrack.

Nakamori topped Rounds 1 and 2 in Palawan recently and is well equipped to foil the challenge anew of Karl Wilhelm, teammates Larco Cortez and Jerry Choi, John Dizon and the rest of the members of the Philippine team that vied in the kickoff leg of the Asian Karting Open in Macau.

Dizon paces the ROK Overall class with 184 points against the 148 of Nakamori, who shows the way in the Expert Blaze 100 class with 170 points. —STEVE SILVA, CONTRIBUTOR
