FC Meralco Manila tries to shake off the horror of a heavy defeat last week when it clashes with Global Cebu on Saturday, even as Ceres Negros battles a Davao Aguilas side that beefed up its lineup in the Philippines Football League.
The Sparks, who suffered a crushing 0-7 loss to Ceres Negros last week, are looking to regain top spot with a victory over Global in the 4 p.m. clash at Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Meralco coach Aris Caslib said the Sparks have moved on from the defeat to the Busmen.
“We have picked up training day by day since the Ceres loss and the past few training sessions have been very good,” said Caslib.
Meralco winger Curt Dizon echoed Caslib’s sentiments.
“We could dwell on the loss to Ceres or move on,” he said. “We decided to move on.”
