Giannis Antetokoumpo has evolved from a novelty to a legitimate superstar for the Milwaukee Bucks after he took the NBA by its throat in the 2016-2017 season when he led his team in all five major categories.

And even though Antetokoumpo became the first player in league history to be in the top 20 in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals, his shooting was the worst in his impressive repertoire.

The one-time All Star, though, is determined to improve his jump shots as the Bucks head to the 2017-2018 season.

“I’m working hard every day with our coaches and to just try to improve my technique because that’s the important thing,” said Antetokounmpo during his media availability for the “Greek Freak Invades Manila” Sunday at Fairmont Makati.

As per basketball-reference.com, the reigning Most Improved Player shot a disastrous 27.9 percent from deep and his conversion rate dropped drastically when he stepped from the rim to at most 10 feet.

Antetokoumpo made 70.9% of his shots from within three feet of the basket but just converted 39.4% of his shots from three to 10 feet from the basket.

“When you start getting comfortable with your technique, and the way you shoot the ball, you will make more shots,” said Antetokoumpo.
