In a trash talk battle between Draymond and McGregor… who comes out on top?

As if the ongoing war of words between UFC Lightweight champion Conor McGregor and boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr. isn’t enough, another high-profile athlete has decided to enter the picture.
Ahead of the monumental bout between the combat sports’ biggest athletes, reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year Draymond Green took a swipe at the Irish superstar on Instagram for wearing a classic Golden State Warriors jersey.
“The Notorious” was rocking a No. 23 jersey, which just so happens to be currently used by the eccentric forward.
“We rocking with Floyd bro not you… take that off bruh,” Green captioned the photo, expressing his allegiance to the undefeated boxer.
As anticipated, the equally brash McGregor fired back at his unlikely detractor, explaining who the jersey was intended for.
“That’s C.J. Watson mate,” he responded. I don’t know who the f**k you are. No disrespect tho kid, keep hustling and stay in school.”
McGregor, of course, was referring to former Warriors guard C.J. Watson, who used the same jersey number during his stint with the team from 2008 to 2010.
In a tweet last January, McGregor also used Watson to troll his boxing opponent, after rumors that the NBA veteran had been involved with Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend in 2010.

In true McGregor fashion, he left another stinging comment and made sure he had the last word.
“Now ask yourself why I’m rocking C.j. when I don’t know or give a f**k about basketball,” he wrote. “I dribble heads off the floor. Not a ball. This is no game here kid.” /ra
