Philippine Superliga reigning Grand Prix champion team Foton is trying to get the services of former Ateneo stalwart Dzi Gervacio who is now on a sabbatical from rival league Premier Volleyball League.
Foton owner Rommel Sytin bared talks between him and Gervacio, who is in the United States for a short course.
The back-to-back Grand Prix champion club is beefing up its roster behind 6-foot-5 main weapon Jaja Santiago and 5-foot-6 open spiker EJ Laure.
They are still shopping for imports for the PSL’s much awaited conference slated to begin in October.
The 25-year-old Gervacio once played for the Tornadoes in the 2014 Grand Prix and 2015 All Filipino where she suffered a dislocated patella.
The 5-foot-8 open spiker returned to action in the Shakey’s V League for BaliPure and Perlas in the PVL.
Gervacio is known for her jump serves and her strong presence on the court.
