#KicksStalker: Hyperdunk 2017 Flyknit features ‘React’ cushioning

As Nike introduces its latest edition of the Hyperdunk, the sporting giant will also debut a new cushioning system to go along with one of its popular models.

Accompanying the Hyperdunk 2017 Flyknit is Nike’s newest creation, the Nike React.

The React will enable the new Hyperdunk to “offer soft and ultra responsive cushioning with every step which ensures players a consistent energy uplift every minute, every game.”

Previous Hyperdunk Models either had the Zoom or Air cushioning with the 2016 edition carrying the former, but Nike made the decision to incorporate the React to this year’s model.

“Simply put, the shoe is made for quicker cuts, smoother jums, and longer playing time in the hardwood,” said Nike in a statement. “Its outsole has a unique data-informed traction pattern that offers consistent grip in specific zones under the foot.”

Stabilizing the Hyperdunk is an internal shank plate placed between the cushioning and the outsole.

The “White Metallic” and “Pale Grey” colorways will be the first to be made available to the public.
