Perlas Pilipinas stays in Division A in Fiba Women’s Asia Cup
Perlas Pilipinas wrapped up its 2017 Fiba Women’s Asia Cup stint with a 78-63 thumping of North Korea to retain its Division A status in the continental tilt.
It was the first victory for the Filipinos in the tournament held in India after four straight losses, the last an 87-53 rout to Chinese Taipei that put its place in the elite Division A in peril.

All but one of the 11 players scored for the Philippines with Allana Lim leading the way with 16 points that went with four rebounds.
Analyn Almazan added 13 points and five rebounds while Cindy Resultay had a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards
