Adamson University skipper Jema Galanza saw another disappointing end to one of the Lady Falcons’ exploits as they finished the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference with a disappointing 1-6 record Saturday.

And that string of losses does not sit well with the beautiful Galanza.

“I want to win,” said Galanza in Filipino after losing in straight sets to the semifinals-bound Philippine Air Force 25-22, 25-16, 25-21, at Filoil Flying V Centre.

Galanza will enter her fifth year with the Lady Falcons come the UAAP season and the captain said there’s no better way to build up momentum than in the offseason.

“I am hungry for wins because this will be my last year with the team and why not start this conference in the PVL so we can build the necessary momentum come the UAAP season.”

Galanza would also like to show head coach Airess Padda that they’re capable of doing great things for Adamson.

Padda entered the Adamson program in Season 79 and things started poorly for the Lady Falcons finishing with a league-worst 1-13 record.

“We’re fighting every game but our goal and together with the coaches is to win,” said Galanza. “Coach Air’s first year with us we managed to win just one game so if we lose, for example here, we should be able to learn new lessons.”
