Batangas continued to stockpile in preparation for the 2017 PBA D-League Foundation Cup playoffs, this time, fortifying their frontline on Tuesday.

Coach Eric Gonzales secured the release of Leo Avenido from Gamboa Coffee Mix, while picking up Joseph Gabayni and Jebb Bulawan from the free agent pool.

The three will join Robby Celiz as the new recruits for the Batangueños as they will play later against Flying V.

The 38-year-old Avenido averaged 17.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists this conference for the Coffee Lovers, where he also filled the role of the head coach.

Gabayni last saw action in the PBA D-League with Racal last conference, while Bulawan suited up for JRU.

Meanwhile, Flying V has also made minimal moves to its camp as it activated Ryusei Koga in lieu of Mike Gamboa.

The Fil-Japanese guard last played for Victoria Sports-MLQU, and his entry will give the Thunder another playmaker as they gun to complete a sweep of the eliminations.
