TNT coach Nash Racela fined 10K

TNT coach Nash Racela’s actions got him in hot water as he got hit with the PBA’s first wave of infractions in the 2017 PBA Governors’ Cup.

The youthful mentor got fined P10,000 for directly addressing PBA commissioner Chito Narvasa during a live game in the KaTropa’s 106-96 win over Kia last Friday.

Racela opted to not issue comments about the matter, saying, “It is what it is.”

Blackwater big man Kyle Pascual and Kia bruiser Eric Camson also didn’t get away from the fine spree, as they were penalized P5,000 eachfor their flagrant foul penalty one.

GlobalPort forward Sean Anthony had to pay P3,000 for flopping, Phoenix shooter Matthew Wright was slapped a P1,000 fine for his technical foul for use of profane language, while Alaska’s Vic Manuel and Star’s Rodney Brondial were meted a P1,000 fine for incurring technical foul for second motion.

All in all, P26,000 were collected, all of which will go to the PBA Players’ Trust Fund.
