Aspiring neophytes can now take the first step to their dreams with the PBA now accepting applications for the 2017 PBA Rookie Draft.
The draft proceedings is set on October 29 at Robinson’s Place Manila as it ushers in the new wave of players coming in the league.
The deadline for submission of applications and requirements for Fil-foreign players is on September 1 while local-born applicants have until October 12 to file their papers.
Once the preliminary list for Fil-foreign rookie hopefuls has been released, a month-long deliberation on the applicants’ eligibility will ensue and the final list of applicants will be released on October 27.
There will be a two-day Draft Combine late in October to test the applicants’ skill sets and gauge their physical abilities in front of PBA coaches.
