Metta World Peace arrives in Manila, satisfies Filipino food craving
Former NBA player Metta World Peace arrived in Manila Saturday for a quick trip to the Philippines.
“Just arrived in Manila .. Love the Filipino people. Halo halo time!!!” said World Peace in a tweet, hours after complaining about his flight getting delayed.

The former Los Angeles Laker, who was known as Ron Artest before having his name legally changed, will only spend less than a day in the Philippines, according to Snippet Media’s Kristina Maralit.
