Former NBA player Metta World Peace arrived in Manila Saturday for a quick trip to the Philippines.
“Just arrived in Manila .. Love the Filipino people. Halo halo time!!!” said World Peace in a tweet, hours after complaining about his flight getting delayed.
After landing, World Peace immediately satisfied his craving for Filipino Food and dined at a local restaurant in Makati.

The former Los Angeles Laker, who was known as Ron Artest before having his name legally changed, will only spend less than a day in the Philippines, according to Snippet Media’s Kristina Maralit.
Earlier, he asked his Twitter followers for leads on where to find the best street ball park in Manila. It is unsure whether he will have time to play ball while here.
World Peace’s 16-year-old son Jeron Artest is born to a Filipino mother.
