The 2017-2018 NBA season is still a good two months away, but LeBron James is already itching for some hardwood action.

The four-time NBA Most Valuable Player recently made known on Twitter his desire to return to the court after a lengthy off season.

“Man I need some run!! Where y’all hooping at?? Off season please hurry up and end, I have basketball Jones!!,” he wrote last week.

“The King” got his wish granted on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila) as he hopped on his private jet and played in a glorified pick-up game in Life Time Athletic at Sky in New York City.

As seen in now viral Instagram posts, LeBron put in some off-season work and played a scrimmage with fellow All-Stars Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant.

His Cleveland Cavaliers  teammates JR Smith and Dahntay Jones were present as well, along with Oklahoma City Thunder center Enes Kanter, among others.

A source who watched the spirited game told ESPN that James played for two hours, then casually flew back to Ohio to attend a LeBron James Family Foundation function.

“He just has a love for basketball,” the source described James, adding that he might even organize another pickup game in Los Angeles, California, in the coming weeks.  Khristian Ibarrola /ra
