Dela Rosa seeks third GT victory

Patrick dela Rosa sets out to duplicate his victory in the previous leg as circuit racing action resumes Saturday and Sunday in the 2017 Yokohama Philippine Grand Touring Car Championships at Batangas Racing Circuit in Rosario, Batangas. Dela Rosa paces the overall race after three legs and is actually gunning for a third win against a field that includes defending champion Edwin Rodriguez and third-leg runnerup Gerard Loy and Eduardo Suiza. Dela Rosa ruled the third leg’s morning’s nine-lap Sprint race over Gerard Loy and then topped the 15-lap GT Final Race over Suiza to cop the GT200 title. —STEVE SILVA, CONTRIBUTOR
