Adidas has launched a running movement that combines both fun and sweat—personalized training plans, expert coaching and sharing of experiences from celebrity members.
Jules Aquino, Maureen Schrijvers, and Ani De Leon-Brown, the first Filipino woman to qualify in the Ironman World Championship, are among the trainers of Adidas Runners, which will hold clinics in various parts of Metro Manila.
“We’re building a community that’s united by our love for running,” said De Leon-Brown, who competed in Ironman Hawaii in 2008. “As captains, we’re here to push our runners to get better each week and have fun doing it.”
There will also be pacers, a strength coach, nutrition coach and a medical coach to inspire members to push for progress and get the most fun out of each session.
“We want to unite all kinds of runners,” Adidas Philippines’ Jen Dacasin said during the recent launch at Ascott Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. “Whatever their reason is for running, we want them to have a great time.”
