PH wins bronze in women’s 50m rifle for shooting’s 1st medal

The Philippines squeezed into the podium with a bronze medal in the women’s 50 meter rifle prone event Thursday in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur.

Filipino shooter Amparo Teresa Acuña came up with 612.9 finish to give the Philippine shooting team in Malaysia its first medal so far.

Thailand bets finished with the gold and silver medals, respectively, as Ratchadaporn Plengsaengthong scored 619.8 and Supamas Wankaew 617.7.
