Taking a break from their Symetra Tour campaign in the US, Rodriguez and Superal will banner the field in the ICTSI Pradera Verde Ladies Classic blasting off Tuesday at Pradera Verde Golf and Country Club in Lubao, Pampanga.
The two winningest players on the ICTSI Ladies Philippine Golf Tour are expected to tangle anew for top honors in the P750,000-event, although other capable contenders are out to stop their dominance.
Pauline del Rosario, who has two victories in her rookie year at Orchard and Baguio legs, former leg winners Chihiro Ikeda, Fil-Am Cristina Corpus and Sarah Ababa and Korean Euna Koh are among the top challengers.
Other foreigners ready to challenge in the event organized by Pilipinas Golf Tournaments Inc. are Thais Tiranan Yoopan and Sarinee Thithiratanakorn.
Although amateur hotshot Abby Arevalo, winner of the Riviera leg last month, won’t be around, a talented bunch of youngsters are raring to make their mark like former LPGT leg winner Bernice Olivarez-Ilas and Sofia Chabon of The Country Club.
Also entered are TCC mainstays Sam Dizon, Laia Barro and Mafy Singson, Marianne Bustos, Jonah Ilagan, Sheila Ward and Kinjo Mana of Japan.
