KUALA LUMPUR — John Colin Syquia was already rethinking his decision of competing in the Southeast Asian Games because of a long flight from Florida.
His mount Adventure L took the flight from Florida to New York to Amsterdam, Netherlands to Baku, Azerbaijan before coming here.

Team manager Daniella Virata said the horse may have travelled 36 hours.
“Imagine what the horse went through, standing on the pallet all those hours,” said Virata.
But Syquia remained cool through it all, “he was smiling and sharing the same personality as Adventure, they really jibed together,” she said.
Already, Syquia is being eyed to represent the Philippines in the Asian Games next year.
