Arellano, NU banner PVL Collegiate conference

Reigning NCAA champion Arellano and former titlist National University headline the upcoming Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference that is set to start on Sept. 2 at Filoil Flying V Centre.

The Lady Bulldogs, who won the collegiate conference title in the 13th season of the Shakey’s V-League, banner Group A that includes Ateneo, San Sebastian, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Far Eastern University, and Jose Rizal University.

The Lady Chiefs, meanwhile, join University of the Philippines, Technological Institute of the Philippines, San Beda, Adamson, and College of St. Benilde.

FEU is on its first campaign in a major tournament under the tutelage of head coach George Pascua, who replaced Shaq Delos Santos for the position.

The top four teams from Group A compete with the best four from Group B in the cross-over quarterfinals.

The four winners then advance to the best-of-three semifinals with the best two teams advancing to the final round that has the same format.
