Menor’s next goal: 2nd pro win at Riviera
Rene Menor heads to the ICTSI Riviera Classic, the third leg of the inaugural Philippine Golf Tour (PGT) Asia that tees off Wednesday, carrying the momentum of his first professional triumph.
Menor said the demanding Langer course and the field of foreign aces who missed last week’s Splendido Classic makes his bid a more challenging one.
“I wish I could get a chance to win again but Langer is tougher and the field is stronger,” said Menor, who battled from six down to get a slot in the playoff and edged Pasavee Lertvilai of Thailand on the sixth playoff hole to conquer Splendido on Sunday.
