PVL men’s: Ateneo gets third straight win, FEU claims solo second

Ateneo continued its romp in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference after dropping St. Benilde in straight sets, 25-13, 25-22, 25-22, Wednesday at Filoil Flying V Centre.

The Blue Eagles stayed perfect in four games while the Blazers dropped to their third loss in as many games.

Marck Espejo put up a game-high 17 points while Ismael Rivera added nine points for Ateneo.

Isaah Arda led the Blazers with 11 points.

In the second game, Far Eastern University claimed sole possession of the second spot after stopping University of Santo Tomas 25-23, 25-23, 26-24.

The Tamaraws improved to 3-2 while the Growling Tigers slipped to a 2-2 card after losing their second straight.

John Paul Bugaoan had a game-high 16 points for FEU while Redijohn Paler added 11.

Joshua Umandal had 15 points to lead UST.
