OOM winner has eyes on another prize
Assured of the Philippine Golf Tour Order of Merit title, Clyde Mondilla can afford to take the ICTSI Players Championship blasting off Tuesday in Lipa City leisurely.
But Mondilla is made of sterner stuff. He wants to make the circuit’s 10th and final leg set at Summit Point Golf Club as an affirmation of his elite status as a pro.
Powered by his victory in the recent Riviera Classic, which also served as third leg of the inaugural Philippine Golf Tour (PGT) Asia Tour, Mondilla leads the OOM race with earnings of P2.6 million.

Tony Lascuña, the 2016 OOM king who is running second to Mondilla this year with two leg victories and earnings of P2.57 million, has signed up for the Taiwan Masters also set this week.
Miguel Tabuena, running third with P1.9 million, will also compete in Taiwan, while No. 4 Angelo Que (P1.6M), is in Japan.
