“I’m really thankful to be here for this opportunity and I’m really excited playing with them and learning a lot of things from them,” said Valdez during the presser on Friday as posted on her Facebook account.
“It’s really nice to get to see a different culture and try new things here. And we’re really growing not only as players but also as individuals.”
Valdez, who suited up for 3BB Nakornnont in the Women’s Volleyball Thailand League earlier this year, practiced with her new team on Thursday.
The Filipino volleyball star will also be playing with a familiar face in Thuy as they competed against each other in the AVC Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship here.
