Renacia, Fernandez pace Sletba Open qualifiers

Tobs Renacia of the Sta. Lucia East Tenpin Bowling Association (Sletba) and Perry Fernandez of DATBI are tied for the lead in the Masters division of the ongoing 21st Sletba Open in Cainta, Rizal.

Results of the qualifying games as of Sunday night showed Renacia and Fernandez posting 1328 pinfalls each in six games, followed by Art Barrientos of TBAM-Prima with 1301.

In the Graded Masters field, Charles Calamba of Sletba-GMTBC rolled a six-game series of 1362 to pace the group, followed by two other Sletba members–Pabs Penalba (1298) and Edel Ocampo (1288).

Penalba is also currently ahead in the Senior Masters with 1376, followed closely by Boy Florencio of Sletba-GMTBC with 1365, and Papio de Dios of Sletba with 1337.
