The other top finishers were Alfred Kang of SJCBA with 1755, and Daboy Mendoza of Sletba and Jack Interia of ATBA-Gruppo, both with 1730.
The top five finishers received cash prizes.
The finals for Group 2 will be held Saturday afternoon, while the finals for Group 1, or Masters category, rolls off on Sunday.
The Masters division is paced by Kevin Cu, seeded since he is the defending champion, Krizziah Tabora of TBAM-Prima and a member of the national pool, Dennis Gallardo of Sletba-GMTBC, and Jason Ko of Sletba./asu
