#KicksStalker: Irving debuts Kyrie 3 ‘Celtics’ in season-opener

Kyrie Irving has fully embraced the Boston lore.

In the Celtics’ season opener against Irving’s former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, a new player exclusive of the Nike Kyrie 3 emerged.

Irving donned what happened to be the first Celtics-inspired colorway of his third Nike sneaker and it featured shamrocks on the green toebox.

A gold Swoosh brings the pop on the primarily black shoe while electric green pods appear on the outsole.

Irving once said that Boston is a “real, live sports city” as per the Associated Press.

“A lot of different cultures, food, and people. You get it all, especially in Boston. You would go to Cleveland, and it would be at nighttime, and things would be going on, but you just see a vast difference.”
