LeBron James is called “The King” for good measure. 

After John Wall and Bradley Beal said that Cleveland was afraid of Washington in last year’s Playoffs, James responded quite subtly.

The four-time MVP debuted a pair of LeBron 15, just a few hours after the Wizards duo said their sentiments, that carefully combined the aspects of the lifestyle line of the shoe and the aesthetics of the Soldier.

The lifestyle pair features a higher-cut than the court version and has a zipper on its medial side panel with three straps saying, “LONG LIVE THE KING.”

James, though, did not wear the pair on the floor as he opted for the “Ghost” colorway instead.

And after James landed the subtle jab through his shoes, the King delivered the finisher, putting up a kingly line of 57 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and two blocks in the Cavaliers’ 130-122 win.
