Foreign PGT bets eye breakthrough

Foreign bets aim to end the Filipinos’ surge in the PGT Asia Tour when the ICTSI Wack Wack Championship starts Wednesday at WW East.

Pasavee Lertvilai heads the 48 foreigners from 16 countries in the $100,000 fourth leg, with the Thai out to atone for his playoff setback to Rene Menor in the second leg at Splendido last September.

Wisut Artjanawat, another Thai who placed seventh in the kickoff leg at Wack Wack won by Miguel Tabuena, and Manila-based Dutchman Guido Van der Valk , who wound up sixth at Riviera, are also in the fold. —ROY LUARCA
