San Beda sweeps Lyceum for 21st NCAA championship
Robert Bolick threw Lyceum’s perfect season in the trash, leading San Beda’s 92-82 Game 2 triumph that completed the sweep of the NCAA Season 93 men’s basketball Finals and the Red Lions’ back-to-back title romp.
Bolick proved to be the hero the Red Lions needed, firing seven points in the final 5:01, none bigger than his dagger three with 50 seconds remaining to push his side to a comfortable 89-82 lead.

“Lyceum did a good job. If we could just give two championships, Lyceum and us should be the champions,” said Bolick.
Finals MVP Donald Tankoua registered another monstrous double-double of 17 markers and 17 boards, while Davon Potts finished off his collegiate career with 15 points and five rebounds.

San Beda continued its dynasty as it annexed its 10th title in 12 years and 21st overall championship in men’s basketball.
“(Lyceum) really wanted to win this game but (the San Beda players) were so excited. I’m happy that we’re able to settle down in the second half. Credit to my boys,” said coach Boyet Fernandez, who returned to the San Beda lair this season to win his third title with the school.
Season MVP CJ Perez gave it his all in the decider, pouring 22 points, five assists, four rebounds, three steals, and a block, but Lyceum unfortunately suffered its first back-to-back losses this season at the wrong time and end its 18-0 season with a runner-up finish.
Mike Nzeusseu got 15 markers, 15 boards, and two blocks, while Rookie of the Year Jaycee Marcelino had 12 points, four rebounds, three dimes, and two steals in the Pirates loss.
