Filipino bets Gina Iniong and Richard Corminal will carry the fight for the Philippines in the ONE: Immortal Pursuit card in on November 12 at the state-of-the-art Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Last-minute replacement Gina Iniong (6-2) take on veteran contender Mei Yamaguchi (16-10-1) just 14 days before her last fight here in Manila where she defeated Priscilla Hertati Lumbangaol by TKO.

Iniong, who stepped in for ONE atomweight champion Angela Lee, is going up against one of the top fighters in the division with Yamaguchi looking to follow up her submission win over Jenny Huang last July.

The Baguio native is looking to stretch her winning streak to three in her third fight with Asia’s top mixed martial arts promotion this year.

Corminal (4-2), meanwhile, is eyeing redemption when he squares off with France’s Arnaud LePont ( 11-5) in the preliminaries.

The Malaysia-based Filipino fighter is hoping to end his first year in ONE Championship with a strong performance, just like he has shown his entire career. All of Corminal’s four victories were via knockout.

Opposite Corminal is Arnaud, a lightweight veteran hungry for action as he is fighting in his first bout in two years.

Headlining the 10-bout event is the clash between Ben Askren and Shinya Aoki for the ONE welterweight world championship.

In his swan song, Askren defends his belt and undefeated record against the legendary Aoki, who is raring to bounce back from his stunning loss to Eduard Folayang last year at the same venue.
