BANGKOK — Four Filipinos are motivated to finish the year on a winning note as they gun for upsets at ONE: Warriors of the World Saturday at Impact Arena here.

Team Lakay standout April Osenio (2-2) will make her much awaited comeback from a one-year layoff as she takes on debuting Chinese bet Xiong Jingnan in a flyweight showdown.

Rome Trinidad is also aching to show that she’s more than just her good looks as she seeks to silence the home crowd and stun fan favorite Rika Ishige (2-1).

Jimmy Yabo (5-5) is also upbeat on his chances to finally snap his three-match skid when he takes on undefeated Thai bet Sagetdao Petpayathai (2-0), while wushu master Rabin Catalan (4-3) is determined to show that experience is still worth more than youth when he takes on Kritsada Kongsrichai (5-1) of Thailand.

The Filipinos are part of an action packed 10-match card here in Bangkok which is headlined by Yoshitaka Naito defending his ONE Strawweight Championship against Alex Silva.

Thai contender Shannon Wiratchai is also eyeing to delight his people when he takes on Rasul Yakhyaev figure in a ONE Lightweight Championship title eliminator.

The fighters faced off at the rooftop of Banyan Tree Bangkok for the final time before their clash on Saturday.

This will be the promotion’s final event for the year before taking a holiday and preparing for a loaded calendar in 2018.
