PBA releases partial PH Cup schedule; Christmas Day game set at PH Arena

Despite all the hitches, the 43rd season of the PBA will push through.

The league has released a partial game schedule for the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup that covers the remaining gamedays for the year of 2017. It was signed by embattled commissioner Chito Narvasa.

The season will kick off as scheduled on December 17 at Smart Araneta Coliseum with the match between reigning three-time all-Filipino champion San Miguel and retooled Phoenix at 6:45pm following the opening ceremonies at 4pm.

The Christmas Day game on Dcember 25, meanwhile, feature the marquee match ups between NLEX and Globalport and crowd drawer Ginebra and Magnolia at Philippine Arena in Bocaue.

Other game days include NLEX taking on Kia on December 20 at PhilSport Arena, where second overall pick Kiefer Ravena makes  his much awaited debut, and Magnolia’s first game against Alaska in the night cap.

Blackwater clash with Meralco in the first game on December 22 at Cuneta Astrodome before Rain or Shine goes at it with TNT.

The ball returns to Smart Araneta Coliseum on December 27 for the battle between Phoenix and Kia in the opener and Meralco and San Miguel in the second game.

PBA closes the year on December 29 back at Cuneta Astrodome where Blackwater faces off against Rain or Shine and TNT battles Alaska.
