LiAngelo, LaMelo Ball sign with Lithuanian club

The Big Ballers are headed to Europe.

LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball have reportedly signed a one-year contracts with Lithuanian club Prienu Vytautas, ESPN has reported.

The Ball brothers, including infamous father LaVar Ball, are expected to boost the publicity of the club but are unlikely to get major minutes in the Lithuanian Basketball League, according to the report.

Prienu Vytautas also plays less-competitive Baltic League, where the younger brothers of NBA rookie Lonzo Ball could play 20-25 minutes.

LiAngelo, 19, recently pulled out of the UCLA basketball team where he had been suspended indefinitely following the shoplifting incident during the Bruins’ tour in China.

LaMelo, 16, meanwhile, dropped out of Chino Hills in high school in his junior year. According to the Big Baller Brand,  he will be the youngest player from the US to play outside of the country.

In a post on Big Baller Brand, which was founded by the Ball patriarch, the Balls’ move to play overseas was borne out of passion and desire to “experience playing as pros.”

LaVar, with his bigger-than-life personality, became the talk of the town since last year because of his audacious and eyebrow-raising comments, even feuding with President Trump over his son’s release in China.
