For the first time ever, a message exclusively for the Philippines, from Michael Jordan himself. #WinFromWithin #NothingBeatsGatorade pic.twitter.com/HNM987J3CF

The greatest basketball player of all time has a message to the sport’s most passionate fans.
Michael Jordan addressed Filipino athletes, particularly the young generation, to continue to strive in pursuit of their dreams.
“Mabuhay Philippines! I just wanna tell you young Pinoy athletes out there to keep training, keep sweating and keep working towards your goals,” Jordan said in a video greeting.
Jordan did just that. Known to be the fiercest and fearsome competitor, ‘His Airness’ never stopped and never quit in his goal to win.
He was unbeatable in basketball’s grandest stage, winning the NBA championship in each of his six trips to the finals as the unquestioned leader of the Chicago Bulls.
Jordan was the third overall pick by the Bulls in the 1984 NBA Draft. Among his countless accolades are six Finals MVP awards, five regular season MVPs and two-time Olympic gold medalist.
He retired for good in 2003 after making a comeback in 2001 as a member of the Washington Wizards and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.
Jordan, who is now the majority owner of the Charlotte Hornets, has never been to the Philippines.
