LSGH-SSC tiff kicks off dickies caging
The 6th Philippine Secondary Schools Basketball Championships (PSSBC) Dickies Cup opens on Saturday at SGS Stadium in Quezon City with La Salle Green Hills out to validate its status as the emerging power in the juniors rank.
LSGH, which recently foiled Mapua’s back-to-back National Collegiate Athletic Association bid to claim its first title, starts its campaign against San Sebastian College in the curtain-raiser at 9 a.m.
Out to lead the Greenies are NCAA Finals Most Valuable Player Joel Cagulangan, Joshua David and Inand Fornilos.

“We are confident we can help discover new talents for international tournaments,” said league chair Rudy Yu of Dickies Underwear.
Also part of the PSSBC board are Hapee Toothpaste’s Dr. Cecilio Pedro, Blackwater’s Dioceldo Sy, Freego Jeans’ Eduard Tio, Poly Gloss and Rain or Shine’s Terry Que, Che Lu Bar & Grill’s Jimmy Dela Cruz and MEC Computers’ Leoncio Chua.
