Venezuelan phenom MJ Perez came away with two all-important trophies Saturday in the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix after winning the title and the Most Valuable Player award for F2 Logistics.
Perez led the Cargo Movers with 24 points in their four-set triumph over Petron, 25-20, 25-19, 20-25, 25-18, in Game 3 of the Finals at Mall of Asia Arena.
F2 teammates Kim Fajardo and Dawn Macandili also grabbed first tier individual awards in the forms of the Best Setter and 1st Best Libero trophies.
Kianna Dy and Mary Joy Baron were named as the 2nd Best Opposite Spiker and 2nd Best Middle Blockers.
Petron’s attack tandem of Hillary Hurley and Lindsay Stalzer were given the 1st Best Outside Spiker and 2nd Best Outside Spiker awards while Mika Reyes was named as the 1st Best Middle Blocker.
Jaja Santiago of Foton was given the 1st Best Opposite Spiker while Petron’s Yuri Fukuda was awarded the 2nd Best Libero plum.
Sara Klisura was recognized as the Best Scorer in a Match after she unloaded 41 points in five sets against F2 in the eliminations.
