#KicksStalker: Jordan’s 6th shoe gets washed in Gatorade

It’s a match made in 90s basketball heaven.
When Michael Jordan teamed up with Gatorade back in 1991, a catchy tune was born and the phrase “Be like Mike” promptly became immortal.
And after 26 years, a shoe commemorating that partnership finally hit shelves on Saturday as Titan dropped the Jordan VI “Like Mike” on Philippine stores.
The “Like Mike” VIs used the color blocking of the “Carmine” VIs, the exact pair Jordan wore in the commercial, and instead of the usual red the new sneaker comes in “Gatorade Orange.”
The words “If I Could Be” are inscribed on the shoe’s inside tongue as tribute to the lyrics of the song.
The “Like Mike” VIs are worth P9,445 both in store and online and every purchase will come with a bottle of Gatorade Fierce Strawberry, Gatorade towel, and a Titan X Gatorade sticker set.
