Pacquiao Amigos top Penang tournament

Team Philippines, composed of International Masters Emmanuel Senador and Hamed Nouri and Fide Masters Ian Cris Udani and Alekhine Nouri, ruled the Wah Seong Penang Chess League held recently at Red Rock Hotel in Penang, Malaysia.  The Pacquiao Chess Amigos  sponsored by Sen. Manny Pacquiao and National Chess Federation of the Philippines vice president Cliburn Anthony A. Orbe, beat  H3N Vietnam chess team, 2.5-1.5, in the eighth and final round to finish with 15.0 match points and receive 2,500 Malaysian ringgit (about P39,000).
