Renaldo Balkman may be banned from the PBA, but he still found a way to be part of Philippine basketball.

The former Petron import is now part of Alab Pilipinas in the ASEAN Basketball League, team owner Charlie Dy announced.

Balkman will join two-time PBA champion Justin Brownlee as Alab’s foreign reinforcements, replacing Ivan Johnson and Reggie Okosa.

Alab Pilipinas will play Westports Malaysia Dragons in a home game on Wednesday at Filoil Flying V Arena.

Balkman last played for Reales dela Vega in the Domincan Republic League, a local basketball league.
