After ending his UAAP career, two-time MVP Ben Mbala has been busy in Mexico’s Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional where he’s shown a glimpse of what he can do with a leather ball.
Mbala finished with 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting, six rebounds, three steals, and one block in Fuerza Regia’s 79-76 win over Santos San Luis on Dec. 30.
“I am happy I ended up in a great organization as Fuerza Regia is, with a great coaching staff, great teammates, and fans,” said the 22-year-old Mbala.
“Everyone has welcomed me here. I’ll make the best of this opportunity for us as a team and for my growth as a player.”
