Salado averaged 18.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.3 steals for the Chiefs this past NCAA Season 93.

The Cagayan de Oro native, however, saw his collegiate season cut short after tearing his a right MCL late in the second round of the season.

Tang believes the acquisition of Salado will bring nothing but good things to the team as he hopes that his St. Benilde core, bannered by Unique Naboa, Edward Dixon, and Clement Leutcheu will pick up a thing or two from the speedy playmaker.

“We want to be competitive as we can get, but at the same time, build and give ample exposure to our players from St. Benilde. Knowing that they have experienced what it takes to compete for a championship, we are certain that they can bring in positivity to the culture and process we are rebuilding with,” the youthful mentor said.

Salado last saw action for Racal Motors in the 2017 Foundation Cup, where he became only the third player to post a triple-double in PBA D-League history.
