A veteran presence is set to take the center spot for Sta. Lucia in the Philippine Superliga with Micmic Laborte returning to volleyball for the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix.
Laborte, a two-time Best Blocker for Ateneo back in the first four years of the Premier Volleyball League, then called Shakey’s V-League, was the latest addition to the Lady Realtors.
Sta. Lucia has slowly brought in a mixture of veterans and youngsters to compete in the PSL under head coach George Pascua.
Laborte, who sat out 2017, will join Rubie De Leon, who was a three-time Best Setter and two-time Best Server in the PVL, as Sta. Lucia’s veteran guidance.
Also with Sta. Lucia are Jonah Sabete, MJ Phillips, Rebecca Rivera, and Pam Lastimosa.
