The PBA has cancelled its provincial game in Legazpi City slated on February 3 as Mayon Volcano threatens to erupt.

The match between Barangay Ginebra and NLEX was set to take place at Ibalong Centrum for Recreation but was moved to Cuneta Astrodome on the same date.

Albay, the province where Mayon Volcano is located, is now under a state of calamity as the volcano continues to spew lava.

“The PBA will set another game in Legazpi as soon as its playing schedule permits and wishes the people and the entire province of Albay safety and security in this trying time,” the league posted on its official Twitter account.
