Matt Nieto joins Gilas practice, Chot returns

Back from his short sojourn overseas, national team coach Chot Reyes was back in the fold on Monday as he manned the third session of the Gilas Pilipinas practices at Meralco Gym.
Attending for the first time is “23-for-23” cadet Matt Nieto as the young guns participated in the practices anew.
Joining the session are Ateneo teammates Isaac Go and Thirdy Ravena, CJ Perez, Abu Tratter, Will Gozum, J-Jay Alejandro, Joshua Sinclair, Arvin Tolentino, and Juan Gomez de Liaño.
Eight members of the current pool were also in tow namely June Mar Fajardo, Gabe Norwood, Troy Rosario, Jio Jalalon, Mac Belo, Kiefer Ravena, Kevin Alas, and Roger Pogoy.
Carl Bryan Cruz was in attendance but was on street clothes.
Gilas Pilipinas continued its preparations for the second window of the Fiba World Cup Asian qualifiers.
The Philippines faces Australia at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne on February 22, before taking on Japan at Mall of Asia Arena on February 25.
